The Albie Approach
The fine folks at Winston recently posted this great story about false albacore fishing, by Captain Peter Douma, a guide based out of Montauk, NY.
I’ve yet to really experience true saltwater fly fishing – I’ve fished in the surf in Alaska for pink salmon and dolly varden – but Douma’s piece makes me want to plan a trip tomorrow.
