Flashback Friday: My Grandfather’s Fly Rod

This week, I figured for our regular look back at fly fishing history, I’d share this great video from Suffering Outdoors. The man behind this YouTube channel restores and fishes his grandfather’s old bamboo fly rod, which was originally built in the 1940s.

It’s a well-done video, and a reminder of the simplicity that got so many of us into the sport in the first place.
