Deschutes River Closes to Summer Steelhead
Starting as early as June 1, closures for summer steelhead and salmon will be in place on the Deschutes River in Oregon. The closures are part of the fishery framework that helps fisheries managers protect the ever-diminishing returns of sea-run fish in the Columbia River Basin.
