Redington is introducing the Pursuit Series of fly rods and reels with both the beginner and budget-conscious fly angler in mind.  Pursuit rods feature an anodized reel seat for both fresh and saltwater applications. The lighter rod weights have a half wells grip, while the heavier rod weights step up to a full wells. All Pursuit rods feature alignment dots on the ferrules. They are available in either 2-piece or 4-piece models.

The Pursuit reel has a light-weight design and large arbor for quicker retrieves, and the durable aluminum frame construction and easy-to-change spool make these reels very user-friendly. The reels easily convert to right- or left-hand retrieve and feature a disc drag system. All reels are charcoal color and come in either 4/5/6 or 7/8/9-weight models.

Each Pursuit fly rod and reel outfit also comes with an appropriately sized RIO Mainstream fly line.

Pricing for the Pursuit outfit is at $159.95 for the 2-piece outfit, or $179.95 for the 4-piece outfit. Both the Pursuit Rod and Reel can be purchased individually. The MSRP on the reel is $59.95. The MSRP for the 2-piece rod is $99.95, while the MSRP for the 4-piece Pursuit rod is $119.95.
