Hoot Owl Restrictions on Madison River
The Madison River is now under “Hoot Owl” restrictions from the Warm Springs boat launch to the confluence with the Jefferson River.
Hoot Owl restrictions prohibit fishing from 2 p.m. to midnight, when water is at its warmest and potentially lethal for trout that.
