Cutting Spruce or Fly Fishing
This is a unique story by a fellow named Paul Smith, who writes for The Telegram in Newfoundland. This story centers on Smith’s usual winter routine of cutting spruce for firewood, but he can’t access his usual area because a certain lake isn’t frozen over. So, he “resorts” to fly fishing the winter away instead.
It’s an interesting story, one that tells of a changing world through a different lens than we traditionally get. Take a read through the piece here.
