How Habitat Affects Fish Size and Numbers
It’s a commonly held belief that the biggest fish are exclusively found in the biggest bodies of water. While that’s true in a general sense, there’s much more nuance involved. Thankfully, Stephen Klobucar over at The MeatEater breaks down just exactly how habitat affects fish size, and perhaps more importantly, how many big fish can live in a given body of water.
It’s an interesting read, and I highly recommend giving Klobucar’s piece a good chunk of your Monday morning attention.
