This week MidCurrent speaks to Daniel Galhardo, one of the first people to bring the Japanese style of fishing called Tenkara into the United States. He also runs and owns Tenkara USA which sells Tenkara-style fishing rods.

Much has been talked about and debated in regards to Tenkara and it’s place in the fly fishing arena.  This little chat doesn’t wade too far into that, but rather talks about the merits of each Tenkara USA rod and what type of water they are good for.
