Frank Moore, Still Fishing Strong
While wading might be more difficult these days, 89-year-old fly fishing legend Frank Moore still regularly fishes his beloved North Umpqua River. Called the “spiritual father” of most fly fishers in the local area, he’s “still able to fish the pants off of all of us,” says friend Eric Figura. “He’s pretty incredible. They don’t make them like him anymore.”
