Stop 2012 Snook Harvesting Petition
Many are worried that snook—suffering from serious population loss after 2010’s brutally cold Florida winter—have yet to show signs of recovery. Even though there are some large snook being recording, what is missing is the smaller ones—fish that would have been spawned in 2010 or 2011. As a result, some anglers are petitioning the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission to stop the reopening of snook harvesting in September of this year. Those in agreement can sign the online petition here.
