Missouri is the latest state to ban felt soles, following the paths taken by Maryland, Vermont and Alaska in the past two years in trying to help prevent the spread of invasive species. “Pending public comment to the Secretary of State’s office, the new rule will go into effect on March 1, 2012,” reports News-Leader.com.
