U.S. National Fly Fishing Championships Start May 13
Cherokee, North Carolina is the host of this year’s U.S. National Fly Fishing Championships, in which sixty of the nation’s top fly fishers will fish Smoky Mountain streams. Scores contribute to placement on Team USA. “The 2011 U.S. National Fly Fishing Championship event is hosted by the North Carolina Fly Fishing Team, in partnership with the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indian Fish and Wildlife Management Department and the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce.” In the Cherokee One Feather.
