Debate Rages on Hatchery Salmon

The debate about the release of hatchery salmon into the wild continues to rage on, as you can see in this story from Cascadia Daily News. The story highlights the need for the hatchery fish from a numbers perspective – they’re necessary to sustain our harvest – but the problems with hatchery salmon are well-known.
