Essay: “Fool’s Gold”

I had the chance to sit down recently and put together the story of my journey to find a golden trout from Wyoming’s Wind River Mountains. The story spans the better part of a decade, and includes a few surprising moments. If you’re anything like most trout anglers, then goldens hold a special place in your imagination.
