(June 16, 2016) – With the success of the 2016 launch of its Hydrogen fly rods,Redington will add three new models specifically designed to target trout with a two-handed cast. This highly efficient method to cover water works for trout waters across the globe, and two-handed anglers now have a new method to scale the favored pursuit in trout-sized waters.

Each Hydrogen Trout Spey model features a medium-fast action and pinpoint accuracy through improved rod tracking. Zirconia stripping guides reduce guide and line freeze in cold conditions. The downlocking, skeletonized reel seat offers superior in-hand balance to be the lightest weight rod in its class.

The Hydrogen Trout Spey comes in two through four weights, at varying lengths and size-appropriate premium cork handles. Each model will be available at retailers in August 2016 and will retail for $349.95.
