- New research out of Penn State University predicts that climate change will make access to brook trout in the East increasingly difficult to find due to diminishing habitat. “Increases in air and river water temperatures predicted by climate change will result in fewer streams that are cold enough to support brook trout,” said Dr. Tyrell DeWeber of Oregon State University.
