Building Bass

Two lakes in Texas, La Perla and Jalisco have been made by Dr. Gary Schwarz to grow world record bass. With state of the art aeration technology and a diet of freshwater prawns, he’s confident he’ll achieve this goal (which is of course not without contention and concern over “designer” fish). And yet even beyond that, “I think we have the chance to discover the true potential of largemouth here,” he says. “How big can they really get?”
