  • The Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum has announced the 2013 inductees to the Fly Fishing Hall of Fame: A.J. Campbell, Rusty Gates, Paul Schmookler, and Joe Humphreys.

  • Removal of the Veazie Dam on Maine’s Penobscot River commenced on July 22, opening over 1,000 miles of habitat for Atlantic salmon and 11 other species of native sea-run fish.
