El Pescador Grand Slam Tagging Invitational

The 2nd Annual Grand Slam Tagging Invitational at El Pescador in Ambergris Caye, Belize has been set for Wednesday, Jan. 23 – Sunday Jan. 27, 2013. The tournament rules require anglers and guides to measure fish before release, as well as tag them and/or genetic test them.

El Pescador will collect $250 for each entering angler and the total sum raised will be donated to the Bonefish and Tarpon Trust in the name of the champion angler. The grand champion will also receive one entry into the 2014 March Merkin permit tournament in the Florida Keys.
