Dave Ames to Speak at Alaska Project Healing Waters Event

Dave Ames, author of the popular True Love and the Wooly Bugger, will present on March 25th at a Casting for Recovery benefit in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Ames, because he is an avid fly fisher, cancer survivor and author of Me, My Cells and I: A Survivor’s Seriously Funny Guide to the Science of Cancer, is perfectly situated to speak for the nonprofit, which incorporates fly fishing into the quest for physical and emotional healing for breast cancer survivors.  Here’s hoping that Ames and Casting for Recovery collaborate more in the future.
