Hardy To Release “Queen’s Jubilee” Edition Perfect Reel
Combining one of the most famous reels with an equally renowned drag system, Hardy, to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II’s upcoming Diamond Jubilee, will release 250 Perfect reels equipped with a new and improved variation of their “floating pawl” check and regulator system. Widely known as the “1912 pattern check,” the floating pawl system was standard for all Perfect reels from 1911 to 1916. The reels will be available April 15th and will be priced at $2,400.
Hardy’s was founded in 1872 by William Hardy in Alnwick, Northumberland and began manufacturing the Perfect reel in 1891. In 2008, Hardy North America was opened in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
