Pickin’, Fishin’, and Grinnin’

Bluegrass musician Larry Keel, whose song “Sound Check” is featured on Confluence Film’s “CONNECT,” keeps his sanity by, how else, fishing.  “Playing music is an amazing high, for sure, but running up and down the road—that’s the grind.  You gotta beat the grind and keep on getting it, but being able to out and do some fishing?  It centers me in that kind of way.”  Charleston City Paper.

Keel, with his band the Natural Bridge, has participated in such events as Bass & Grass and Trout & Tunes, both Fishin’ N Pickin’ productions.  The song “Sound Check” can be heard on the Alaska portion of CONNECT.
