Thomas McGuane Interview: “A Passion for Tarpon”

In an excerpt from A Passion for Tarpon, publisher Thomas Pero interviews noted fisherman and writer Tom McGuane about his years dedicated to chasing tarpon in the Florida Keys: “When I was first down there in the late ’60s a certain amount of the world that had existed in the 1940s and ’50s was still going on. It was in its last gasp but I was thrilled I got to see it. Harry Snow, Sr. was still guiding and he was almost blind.”
