Podcast: Rosenbauer’s 12 Tips for Fishing the Spring Runoff
In his latest podcast Orvis’s Tom Rosenbauer talks about pressured trout, fly rod design and several ways to improve your trout fishing during the spring runoff.
“My first bit of advice — this is tip number one — is don’t fish where there is runoff. If you’re faced with spring runoff, get in the car and find a lake, find some stillwater fishing, find a spring creek. Spring creeks, because they come nearly full-blown out of the ground, have very little issues with runoff.”
