Frank Smethurst Leaving "On the Rise"

According to a press release we received last night, this will be Frank Smethurst’s final season as host of Trout Unlimited’s “On the Rise” TV series.
“Of all of the places that I went and fish that I was able to encounter, the experience of learning what so many are doing for our wild resources is the most lasting. I learned that at this time in this country, you can no longer just be a fisherman without also doing something to help our aquatic environments. Meeting the people from TU in the field doing so many beneficial things for America’s watersheds was an inspiring part of this great journey, and my hat is off to them all,” Smethurst said.
