It must be the beginning of trout season, because Ekstrom’s Stage Station in Clinton, Montana is open and giving fly fishers an excuse to eat dinner at 10:00 at night. As Betsey Cohen reports in The Missoulian, it’s sometimes hard to know whether the crowds come to Rock Creek to throw a fly or to eat. “‘The phone had been ringing all week with callers wanting to know if it was time yet to come to Rock Creek,’ said owner Carol Ekstrom Steinberg. ‘I even got a call from someone in Holland who couldn’t wait to be here.'”
