Tying Tenkara Flies Without Vise or Tools
“Mr. Yuzo Sebata is one of the most well-known tenkara anglers in Japan. He keeps his fly-fishing simple and enjoys backpacking in the mountains of Japan catching trout and foraging for mushrooms. When we went backpacking together, he brought along a very simple fly-tying kit, which he pulled out at our camp by the stream and proceeded to tie a fly. Watch to see how he ties flies without a vise and with very simple materials.”
