Winter Fly Fishing a Small Icy Stream for Brown Trout
“Winter fishing, in the right conditions, can be some of the more rewarding of the year. You typically have the stream to yourself, fish are looking for a reason to feed, given their metabolism is slowed down greatly in the winter. So if you keep an eye out for a sunny day/warm day it can pay off. On this trip I continue testing out my single nymph rig and have some success in a local small stream.
