“Many saltwater fishing trips are centered around visiting a lodge, fishing with an outfitter, and tending to the kids & wife who want to build sandcastles on the beach. On this trip to Mexico, Eric Shores and Will Connolly decided to do things a little differently and take the ‘back door’ method. This involved renting a car, air BnB, and lots of wade fishing. Plus, a few guided fishing days here and there to change things up. When you take the ‘back door,’ nobody is holding your hand. The adventure begins the moment you step off the plane.
