“The film premieres March 27, 2025, at the historic Weinberg Center for the Arts in Frederick, Maryland. The venue holds special significance as the place where Lefty Kreh met his future wife Evelyn while she worked at the ticket window during his time at Fort Detrick. Frederick, Lefty’s birthplace and hometown situated an hour from Washington D.C. and Baltimore, also features the bronze “Lefty in the Lake” statue by sculptor Toby Mendez, unveiled at Culler Lake in October 2023.

Tickets are available exclusively through weinbergcenter.org. The 7:30 P.M. film screening is $30, while admission to both the 6 P.M. reception with cocktail party and the film is $50. A premium package at $100 includes the reception, reserved seating, a Bonefish & Tarpon Trust membership, and a sponsor gift bag.

All proceeds benefit Bonefish & Tarpon Trust, a nonprofit conservation organization long supported by Lefty. The 44-minute film will also air on television, showing on Outdoor Channel April 19, 2025, at 6 and 10 P.M. EST, and on World Fishing Network April 24 at 7 and 11 P.M. EST.
