Photographer Jakob Burleson

Jakob Burleson was born on the front range of Colorado and has called the state his home ever since. The outdoors and particularly the American west have played a pivotal role in his path and inspiration as a creative. Fly fishing became his focus and career in 2018, and with it the ability to create images and videography celebrating the lifestyle and characters that populate the culture. Jakob currently works in-house for Umpqua Feather Merchants located in Louisville, CO. He shoots and produces the majority of Umpqua’s photo and video content and works as a freelancer on the side. “I live to tell stories through imagery,” Jakob says, “highlighting the finer details of moments in life that can easily be missed.”
