New York DEC Responds to River Ownership Claims

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has made a formal reply to Beau Beasley’s article in Fly Fisherman Magazine about public access on the Delaware River.

The DEC is conducting a review of case law to determine if the public has access to continue to use the Delaware River as it has for decades.
