Environmental Activist Joe Browder Passes

Former Miami TV reporter turned environmental activist Joe Browder passed away Sept. 18, 2016 at the age of 78. Browder played a pivotal role in protecting the Everglades and co-founded the Friends of the Everglades group.  He “was as tough as a ’Glades gator in fighting for his causes,” writes Howard Cohen in The Miami Herald.
