How to Tie the Kintner Boy
Tim Flagler pays homage to the movie “Jaws” with his selection for this week’s featured fly pattern, a bright attractor for late-summer bass and bluegill. The Kintner Boy, says Flagler, was inspired by the colorful swimwear of the giant great white shark’s second victim. The secret to it’s effectiveness, he notes, is that it is large enough not to hook the smaller fish while providing a perfect mouthful for larger fish.
