Conservation Alert: Threat to Michigan’s Holy Waters

Over two thousand acres of state-owned land in the Au Sable “Holy Waters” corridor is in danger from groundwater withdrawals operated by the fracking company EnCana. Anglers of the Au Sable along with a coalition of other like-minded groups are fighting to get the Michigan Department of Natural Resources to cancel new oil and gas leases on that land.
