A Dam, Dying Fish, and a Farmer
As a Montana farmer, Roger Muggli is intimately acquainted with irrigation needs and water supplies. Yet he has also become one of the Yellowstone River’s greatest allies, seeing first-hand the damage diversions can impose on fish populations. “It’s a complex world and we have to be responsible players in it,” says Muggli. “I want to leave this place better than I found it.”
