Bonefish & Tarpon Trust at ICAST

Bonefish and Tarpon Trust is a non-profit organization whose mission is to conserve and enhance global bonefish, tarpon and permit fisheries and their environments through stewardship, research, education and advocacy.

ICAST 2013 is right around the corner, and Bonefish & Tarpon Trust would like to update you on our progress and share what we’ve learned in the past year. We invite you to visit us in Booth 2515 by the press room to watch our videos, talk to our staff and board members about our exciting work, and enter to win amazing prizes!

Some of our recent accomplishments:

  • Worked with the FWC to make bonefish and tarpon catch-and-release-only in Florida
  • Conducted study finding annual economic value of Florida Keys Flats fishery to be $427 million
  • Filmed Season Four of the critically acclaimed fishing show Buccaneers and Bones
