BTT Reaches Tagged Bonefish Milestone in Belize

Bonefish and Tarpon Trust has now tagged over 750 bonefish in Belize. The conservation organization passed the milestone earlier this month during the first annual Bonefish and Permit Tagging Challenge at the Belize River Lodge.

Travelling anglers tagged 36 bonefish, 11 tarpon and three permit during the trip from May 12-17. Guests were awarded prizes for tagging the most fish from each species. BTT plans to run the even again next year May 18-24.
