Rally for the Colorado River
Colorado is facing a monumental regulatory decision that could determine the fate of a river that is one of the most important in the US west. In a matter of weeks, federal agencies, including the EPA, will decide how best to protect the Upper Colorado River from potentially devastating impacts of the Windy Gap Firming Project—a proposed water project that threatens the Colorado River’s flows.
This Thursday (January 26, 2012) Colorado TU is holding a rally in downtown Denver to raise awareness and to communicate to the EPA and other decision-makers that Coloradans support policies that adequately balance development with protection. RSVP on Facebook to let them know you’ll be there.
