Newly converted fly fisher Marty Queen of The McDowell News is not what he used to be. Before discovering fly-fishing, Queen fished “hard and fast and arrogantly.” But when he realized he needed to slow down to become a better fly fisher he discovered things he would have thought merely a distraction from the “relentless pursuit of a limit.”
