More on Yellowstone Cutthroat Plan

March 18, 2011 By: Marshall Cutchin

Chris Hunt, Eat More Brook Trout blogger and author of Shin Deep: A Fly Fisher’s Love For Moving Water, calls the proposals in the National Park Service’s new plan for non-natives in Yellowstone “progressive and thoughtful.”
“Two of the plan’s four alternatives — and the two best alternatives, as far as I’m concerned — call for commercial-grade netting of lake trout in Yellowstone Lake (today, the Park Service is failing to keep the lake trout population in check with small-scale netting).”
