"Tootsie Roll" and Superglue Win Single-Fly for Egan
“The Tootsie Roll [Lance] Egan used needed help to make it through the carnage. ‘It got to about 30 fish before it needed some attention,’ Egan said. “About the last 2?1/2 hours I had to super glue it every 40 minutes or so. The foam was cut to shreds from the teeth and it wanted to peel all the way back.’”
Brett Prettyman describes the fly that helped Lance Egan win September’s Single Fly contest — which benefited Utah conservation projects — on the Green River below Flaming Gorge Dam. In the Salt Lake Tribune.
