Getting Started with Stripers
There are plenty of reasons to learn how to fly fish for striped bass, not the least of which is the fact that they tend to show up in large numbers just when a fall midge hatch produces only half an hour of good fishing. And then there’s the scenery. This week Phil Monahan says that striper fishing — especially for those used to swinging streamers — is much easier to learn than it might seem.
