Sneak Peek: Simms's New Boa Lace Boot

Saturday morning we visited the Simms design and production facility in Bozeman, Montana and got a sneak peek at their new boat lace boot, which features PVC uppers for super-easy cleaning and the Boa Lacing System. For those who haven’t tried Boa laces — coated braided wire tightening via a knob at the top of the boot tongue — they make lace-tightening and fit and no brainer. But more importantly, if your fingers are freezing, wet, or just tired, the instant-release feature makes boot removal a breeze. The new RiverTek Boa is priced at $169.95 and will be available in Spring, 2011.
