Profile: U.S. Youth Fly Fishing Team Captain Robbie Worth
Carl Steward profiles 16-year-old Robbie Wirth, a U.S. Fly Fishing Team member and co-captain of the World Youth Fly Fishing Team that will travel to Slovakia in August.
“Wirth says he fishes as much as 35-40 weekends a year and during the week whenever he can. He spends a couple of hours at night tying flies, and last year, he built his own drift boat in order to better fish the bigger rivers such as the Upper Sacramento. He’s serious about his sport.” In the Mercury News.
