"Six Flies That Work Anywhere"

Herald-News staff photographer Dave Souza says you can catch almost anything on the six flies he mentions in this morning’s column.
“The Bendback is my No. 1 fly. I never consciously did this, it just happened. I use this fly for catching just about everything, including a small tarpon while fishing for snook in Tampa Bay, Fla. The bending of the hook makes it ride upside down with the hook point up so in a way it’s a weedless fly. These flies are never usually made bigger than a 2/0 so they are great to cast even on windy days.”
