Northwest Steelhead, Salmon Returns a Mixed Bag
While fish counts at the Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River show the number of steelhead surging far past predictions, and while many more Idaho sockeye salmon have returned to spawn this year, “B.C.’s Fraser River was closed this weekend after test runs showed an unexpected low return of sockeye salmon.”
