Nick Curcione Joins TFO Advisory Staff

Fly fishing instructor, lecturer and author Nick Curcione has been added to the advisory staff of Temple Fork Outfitters. “As the latest addition to our Advisory Staff, Nick has agreed to be involved in the design of our rods and related products, to assist in developing casting schools and educational programs, and to participate in general business planning for TFO.” Curcione is the author of The Orvis Guide to Saltwater Fly Fishing, Baja On The Fly, Tug-O-War: A Fly Fishers Game, and dozens of magazine articles.

What can be done to grow the sport of fly fishing? Offer the best possible performance in affordable rods and teach new anglers how to use them. Individual contributions to our cause are fundamental – sell the experience and make it fun. As a writer and a teacher, Nick Curcione has done these things. He continues to be a true ambassador for our sport, with limitless passion and skill for sharing both knowledge and techniques.
In addition to his 35 year career as a university professor in southern California, Nick is internationally recognized as an outdoor writer, instructor, lecturer and tackle consultant with over 40 years of angling experience. He has authored three fly fishing books –The Orvis Guide to Saltwater Fly Fishing, Baja On The Fly, and Tug-O-War, A Fly Fishers Game plus numerous articles that have been published worldwide. Nick has been on the editorial staff of Fly Fishing in Saltwaters magazine since its inception. His skills and writings are the result of his extensive experiences with both fly and light tackle throughout Europe, North and South America.
