Simms Announces New Custom Shop Program

Simms has just announced a new custom wader program for 2007 that allows you to specify several features with your order. You’ve been able to get custom stockingfoot sizes attached to Simms waders for a while now, but Simms is now offering the option to customize other features as well. According to the information that will appear on their Web site in coming weeks, “Features of the program include an extended range of sizes in the G4 Guide, Guide and Women’s waders; a bootfoot option (felt or lug sole); stockingfoot options; and add-on accessories. Lead-time for Custom Shop orders is four weeks from receipt of order at Simms Fishing Products.”
The cool thing about this, of course, is that you don’t have to settle for whatever “standard” features come with a new pair of G3s or G4s. If you want boot foot G3s, for example, you can have them put their Muck Wetland Boot on your waders, and women can add a handwarmer pocket. Simms is also adding 9 men’s and 4 women’s sizes in the program.

CUSTOM BOOTFOOT PROGRAM
In a ground breaking move, Simms now offers a bootfoot option on any of the following wader models: G4 Guide, G3 Guide, Guide, RiverTek, L2, Freestone, Women’s G3 and Women’s Freestone. This is the largest bootfoot offering available on the market.
The boot we’re offering is one of the very best outdoor boots available, the Muck Wetland™ Boot. Waterproof, comfortable and light, this boot is ideal for fishing and can withstand temperatures as cold at 20 degrees below zero. The vulcanized boot features a 4mm neoprene stockingfoot with 8mm spacer mesh fabric throughout for increased insulation and breathability.
This is an EE boot and is available in whole sizes only (men’s sizes 7-14) with either a felt or lug sole. Customers should order their street shoe size or size up in the case of half sizes.
Custom Bootfoot Pricing: Add $100 onto the suggested retail price of the specific wader model.
CUSTOM STOCKINGFOOT PROGRAM
A longstanding program from Simms, the Custom Stockingfoot Program allows a customer to select any of the standard neoprene stockingfoot sizes we offer to be applied to the best fitting wader upper. For example, our men’s medium wader comes standard with a size 9-11 stockingfoot. However, we recognize that not everyone fits this mold. If you need a size 12-13 stockingfoot on a medium wader, we are happy to accommodate you. In the end, an angler should never buy a wader to fit the foot instead of the body or accept an ill-fitting stockingfoot.
This program is offered with any of the following Simms wader models: G4 Guide, G3 Guide, Guide, RiverTek, L2, Freestone, Women’s G3 and Women’s Freestone.
Simms stockingfeet are offered in the following sizes: Men’s 7-8, 9-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-17; Women’s 6-7, 7-8, 8-9, 9-10
Simms stockingfeet are anatomically correct left and right feet and are made with high-density neoprene for superior durability. They also feature an hourglass seam design, which minimizes seam intersections in high stress areas and allows for greater ease of entry.

Simms offers the largest range of stock sizes for fishing waders available today and, with the Extended Size Offering Program, we can further accommodate the diverse range of sizes and body types. To supplement the standard sizes offered by Simms, the Extended Size Offering Program adds nine sizes to the men’s wader line-up and four to the women’s waders.
