Maine outfitter Bob Mallard notes several new — and old — efforts to prevent “non-native” fish from populating Maine’s classic trout waters. “One bill calls for a ban on live-fish-as-bait on ‘wild’ (not currently stocked) brook trout lakes and ponds.
